Four have been charged with workers' compensation fraud in Riverside County, California after defrauding insurance companies for $6 million. But that's not all.

According to the Riverside County District Attorney's Office, Carter Pendergrass, his son Joshua, and Phillip Cassidy and his wife Karen, were taken to Riverside County Jail and charged with 107 counts of defrauding insurance companies and the state government of insurance premium dollars, payroll, and income taxes.

Pendergrass and Cassidy allegedly owned and operated a residential construction company under three different names. The other two people involved, falsely reported wages to their workers' compensation insurance companies and to the California Employment Development Department.
