T. Mark Fay Consulting recently presented three scholarship awards to college juniors or seniors who are interested in pursuing a career in the claim industry.

The recipient of the James J. Gebolys Honorary Scholarship is Sarah Hinojosa. She is a senior political science major at the University of Texas San Antonio.

Katherine Whitney, a junior at Western State College of Colorado, is the winner of the William Pack Memorial Scholarship. She majors in business and sociology.

Laurie O'Berry is a junior at Huntington College in Montgomery, Ala., and majors in business. She is the recipient of the T. Mark Fay Foundation Scholarship.

"These were extremely difficult decisions," said James Gebolys, who is both a scholarship namesake and member of the decision-making committee. "I was incredibly impressed by the large number of talented, qualified applicants. These three fine candidates distinguished themselves by both outstanding academics and a strong desire for a career in claims."
