Claims News Service, Nov. 1, 9:59 a.m. EST — A former executive for Zurich Financial has launched a consulting firm that hopes to provide advisory services to corporations and insurers for insurance-related disputes.

David M. Siesko, the former global corporate chief claim officer at Zurich, said his company, Siesko Partners, will work with corporations and insurers in their negotiations during all phases of the claim process and will help devise strategies for both parties that will help them avoid litigation. He also said the company would help facilitate payment of claims when appropriate.

In addition to helping resolve disputes before they reach litigation, Siesko said his company also can serve as an insurance consultant and advise on potential legal and regulatory issues. For insurance carriers, the company can assist on strategy in complex cases, and can save them unnecessary legal fees on disputes that should be prevented.
