It is through the generosity of countless volunteers and organizations such as the Insurance Industry Charitable (IICF) that we can provide critical services to families in need in the Dallas-Fort Worth Area, including:

Housing: Our facility is built with comfort and privacy in mind for every member of the family. RMH Dallas has multiple playrooms, a library, media room, meditation gardens, fitness center, outdoor play areas and more to provide guests with a home away from home. Currently, 73% of families staying at our facility have come from rural communities in Texas because they're struggling to gain access to medical care in those areas. Demand is higher than ever, and with IICF Southeast grants funding the upkeep of our 78,000 square feet facility with 89 rooms, we can offer families the supportive, caring environment they need to recharge.
Food: Since RMH Dallas' inception, we have provided three meals a day. Less than 40% of Ronald McDonald houses nationally are able to even serve one meal a day. IICF funding and volunteers are critical to sustaining this program as we expand to meet the growing need. IICF volunteers aid in the preparation and serving of food to families with our Meals that Heal program. In addition to volunteer support, proceeds from the grant program have enabled us to hire a full-time expert kitchen staff (including two chefs) to curate nutritious, homemade meals for families.
Community: RMH Dallas aims to foster a true haven through its peer support networks. The House provides ample opportunity for families to connect as a community with parents and children who are facing similar struggles. This bond is critical to support families' emotional needs during difficult times. The IICF's Southeast's contributions are an important part of establishing this sense of community as volunteers representing the Dallas-Fort Worth community welcome our House guests.

As a grantee of the IICF Southeast Region and recipient of significant IICF volunteer support, RMH Dallas is greatly appreciative of IICF's significant support for almost two decades. IICF has been instrumental in bringing RMH Dallas' work to life and paving the way for us to build community with our growing number of corporate partners. We leverage our IICF partnership as proof of the impact of our work with other corporate entities and groups. The financial grants and volunteer support from IICF are critical to sustaining our services and to maintaining free programming for children and their families.
