SIAA created quite a buzz at its semi-annual business meeting last week, starting with its annual Pink Evening in Boston with SIAA. The event serves to raise awareness in the fight to defy cancer and as a fundraiser for the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute. The event raised $67,699 for the Institute, bringing the total raised to $388,000 through six events.

On November 1, a National Guard member and his family will experience a life-changing event: the presentation of a vehicle to provide him and his family greater independence and the ability to get to work and to events for the children, thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program along with vehicle donor Allstate and collision repair partner Schaefer Auto Body of O’Fallon, Illinois. Schaefer is part of the Quality Collision Group and a member of the Certified Collision Group.

On October 23, a single mother of two was presented a vehicle to provide her and her family independence and the ability to get to work and doctor appointments, thanks to the National Auto Body Council Recycled Rides program along with vehicle donor GEICO and collision repair partner Crash Champions.
