She is responsible for developing, implementing, and recommending policy positions related to cyber insurance, data security, and data privacy at the state, federal, and international level, as well as with the National Association of Insurance Commissioners. Abbott also leads the APCIA Cyber, Innovation and IT Committee, along with its related subcommittees and working groups.

The data collected by our scanning engine powers Control (our Attack Surface Management product which we give to all policyholders for free and sell to both MSPs and individual companies), as well as our cyber underwriting business at Coalition, delivering security signals that help drive decisions on insurability, pricing and more. His software development career has spanned three decades.
