Hotchkiss Insurance recognized as MarshBerry national winner of MAX Performer Award. Now in its eighth year, this industry badge of distinction is given to independent agencies and brokerages with gold-star financial performance, operational excellence and culture. MarshBerry unveiled Hotchkiss Insurance as the national winner during its Connect Summit – a semiannual executive peer exchange event in Chicago. The regional winners and finalists were announced in June when Hotchkiss Insurance received recognition for its performance in the Southwest United States.

Halliwell has expanded its scientific fire research capabilities following the integration of fire and toxicological sciences specialist, FireTox, into the business. The move will expand the Halliwell Fire Research service line and strengthen the firm’s international footprint, introducing a permanent US presence alongside existing fire research operations and services in Asia Pacific, Australia, New Zealand and the UK/EMEA.

Safeco Insurance partnered with Columbia Insurance Group, a Central and Midwest regional carrier. Under the agreement, Columbia will transfer its entire personal lines auto and umbrella lines business in eight states to Safeco, effective for renewals beginning January 1, 2025.

Acrisure has opened a new location in Hamilton, Bermuda to focus on wholesale insurance broking for its global clients. This new capability complements current reinsurance and specialist MGA facilities and will trade as Acrisure Bermuda Limited, operating under the Acrisure brand.

Bishop Street Underwriters partnered with Verve Services, LLC, a leading, full-service auto insurance managing general agency. This partnership marks Bishop Street’s entry into specialty private passenger auto. Through this equity investment, Verve is positioned for continued innovation and accelerated growth in the auto insurance industry.

Grange Insurance was recognized by Rising Insurance Star Executives for offering one of the 50 best internship programs in the insurance industry across the U.S.

HSB introduced HSB CyberPro, an excess & surplus lines insurance coverage for commercial clients with custom needs that require comprehensive cyber protection to keep up with today’s evolving cybersecurity risks. HSB CyberPro combines experienced cyber claim service, active threat monitoring and risk mitigation tools that HSB has developed over nearly two decades in the cyber insurance market.

FM partnered with Boston Common Golf, one of six teams in TGL presented by SoFi, an innovative golf league in partnership with the PGA TOUR that combines advanced technology and live action play. TGL’s inaugural season tees off on January 7, 2025, in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
