Hurricane Helene is expected to make landfall in Florida today (Sept. 26, 2024) as a Category 2 storm with wind speeds of more than 250 miles per hour. Weather experts warn that the hurricane's storm surge flooding could be "un-survivable" with waters as much as 20 feet high in some places.
