PCF Insurance Services has acquired the insurance business of Top Insurance Associates, based in Snohomish, Washington. With nearly 30 years of service as an all-lines insurance agency, Top Insurance Associates brings a diversified portfolio of personal and commercial insurance solutions to individual and business clients in Arizona, California, Colorado, Idaho, Oregon and Washington.
Halliwell has launched a time element and delay analysis service, following the recruitment of a team of senior specialists. The team provides specialized time element and delay analysis services for global insurance and reinsurance markets to bring clarity and resolution to some of the world’s largest and most complex claims.
Holmes Murphy opened a new office in Lincoln, Nebraska. This new location will not only allow for more growth in its Nebraska footprint, but also allows Holmes Murphy to expand its business, attract new employees and advance innovation within the insurance industry. Prior to this new office, Holmes Murphy has had a location in Omaha for more than 23 years, serving its exceptional Lincoln clients from that location.
AUGIE Group honored two of its members for their service and dedication to independent agents and the insurance industry at its recent meeting. Kathy Bova, vice president of operations at ASNOA, received the Unsung Hero Award. Keith Savino, managing partner and national cyber practice leader at PCF Insurance Services, was awarded The Andy Fogarty Industry Achievement Award. Both have been critical in enhancing relationships and tools for agents to work with insurers and solutions providers.
National Association of Professional Insurance Agents has awarded U.S. Representative Scott Fitzgerald the 2024 PIA Legislator of the Year Award. The Congressman accepted the award during PIA’s Advocacy Day on Capitol Hill. Rep. Fitzgerald was chosen to receive the award due to his steadfast leadership in defending the state insurance regulatory system and limiting the power of the Federal Insurance Office. As a member of the House Financial Services Committee, he plays a key role in shaping policies that affect independent insurance agents.
HDI Global Insurance Company launched its inland marine unit as part of the company’s expansion of its specialty product offering and capabilities in the region. The new unit will be led by Rebecca Molosky, who joins HDI as head of inland marine, reporting to Marco Hensel, chief underwriting officer, HDI Global US.
Jeff Slivka, president of RT Specialty’s environmental and construction professional practice, and Joe Reynolds, executive vice president, will address professional liability challenges and opportunities at the 2024 IRMI Construction Risk Conference. The IRMI CRC is the premier annual event for construction risk and insurance professionals looking to gain insights about emerging trends and to learn practical tips and strategies from leading experts. The event will take place October 27 through October 30, 2024, in San Diego, California.
CAC Group acquired Media Guarantors, a prominent global player in completion guarantees for independent film production. This strategic move reaffirms CAC Group’s commitment to bolstering its presence in the entertainment industry and expanding its specialty industry and product focus.
