RT Specialty promoted Marissa Moscowitz to chief operating officer (COO). She has experience in information technology, business intelligence and business operations and has been with RT Specialty since 2019.

State Farm appointed Jon Farney as the company’s next chief executive officer (CEO) by the State Farm Mutual Board of Directors. He previously served in a variety of executive leadership roles including assistant vice president – securities products, assistant vice president – planning & analysis, vice president – financial operations and operations vice president – underwriting.

Chubb appointed Josh Cowen as senior vice president, international transactional risk to lead this initiative from London. He held senior management roles overseeing M&A underwriting at several marquee insurance brands.

The Hartford appointed Matthew Massaro head of sales and underwriting for its Middle and Large Commercial Businesses’ Northeast Division. He previously served as regional vice president for the Connecticut and Long Island, New York offices.

BMS appointed Daniel Leahy as cyber practice divisional director. He worked as divisional director of cyber & technology at Howden.

NFP appointed Deanna Brewer as senior vice president, account manager, Surety, in Canada. She held senior surety account management position with a global broker.
