Beazley announced the merger of its in-house cyber services team with its wholly owned cyber security company Lodestone, creating an integrated cyber risk management company, Beazley Security. Beazley Security will be led by Alton Kizziah, currently CEO of Lodestone, and he will report to Paul Bantick Beazley’s global head of cyber risks.

Higginbotham partnered with Fountain, Parker, Harbarger & Associates, LLC of Huntsville, Alabama. Combining over 175 years of industry experience and innovation, the two firms joined the previously announced Higginbotham / WRM Group, LLC collaboration to solidify a presence across Alabama.

Acrisure announced the formation of its Southeast Region, encompassing its businesses in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina and Tennessee. Led by current Acrisure Partner Dave Hoover, this is the company’s largest region by revenue. The Southeast Region marks Acrisure’s third rebrand of 2024 and the eighth overall. It joins the Mid-Atlantic, Northwest, Southwest, New Jersey, New York, South and West in going to market under the Acrisure name to reflect the collective financial services acumen and technology capabilities afforded by this unified approach.

Adroit General Agency announced that they will serve as program manager for Nationwide. The move gives Adroit’s customers, including those with complex operations in construction, energy, recycling, alternative energy, agriculture and transportation, access to Nationwide’s compensation insurance.

RT Specialty announced the addition of cyber liability to its proprietary digital platform, RT Connector. RT Connector allows retail insurance agents to efficiently access multiple lines of coverage from multiple carriers for their E&S small commercial business.

Unseenlabs announced the completion of a record-breaking €85 million funding round. This milestone, one of the most significant in the Earth observation sector, highlights the impact of Unseenlabs’ disruptive technology and their leadership position in maritime surveillance.

RIMS, the risk management society, presented 20 students with a 2024 Anita Benedetti Student Involvement Program grant. The program, sponsored by The Spencer Educational Foundation, recognizes the achievements of outstanding undergraduate and graduate risk management students, providing them with funds for travel expenses, complimentary hotel accommodations and registration to RISKWORLD® 2024 scheduled for May 5 – 8 in San Diego.
