Philanthropic insurance news from Spot Pet Insurance, Selective Insurance Group Foundation, Main Street America Insurance and more.

Spot Pet Insurance has joined forces with philanthropist and YouTube phenomenon, MrBeast, to find homes for 100 homeless pets. To further support the adoptive families, Spot has pledged to provide lifelong pet insurance coverage for all 100 dogs; with a potential commitment of over $1,000,000 in pet insurance premiums.

Selective Insurance Group Foundation have a long-standing relationship with Project Self-Sufficiency. As of their Build-A-Bike event last week, 375 bikes have been built and donated by Selective employees over the years. Employees regularly contribute time and resources to the charity’s programs, including providing more than 2,000 food items for their recent Thanksgiving food drive and volunteering at the Season of Hope Toy Shop. The Foundation donates to Project Self-Sufficiency and other charities throughout New Jersey and the U.S. that empower safe, sustainable, just and diverse communities.

Main Street America Insurance announced the agency partners who will receive the first annual Main Street America Insurance Community Impact Award. The award recognizes four agencies from across the country who have demonstrated action and leadership to support those most in need in their local area. The winners are Flathead Insurance out of Montana, The Insurance Source from New Hampshire, Insurance Associates of Starkville, LLC based in Mississippi and Insurance Service Center, Inc. from North Carolina. Each will receive $1,000 to be donated to the nonprofit of their choosing.
