Philadelphia Insurance Companies made a $100,000 donation to Shoes That Fit, a nonprofit that provides new athletic shoes to underserved children. The two organizations partnered with Dignity Health Sports Park’s ASCSC Community Foundation and the LA Galaxy Foundation to deliver new Adidas shoes to 400 children in need during a Halloween event at Galaxy Park on Friday, October 20. LA Galaxy players and Cozmo, the Galaxy’s mascot, were on hand to help PHLY employees distribute shoes to the local youth from the Carson, Compton and greater Los Angeles area.

SIAA held its well-established fundraising event, A Pink Evening in Boston, in support of Dana Farber Cancer Institute | The Jimmy Fund. Over the course of the 90-minute fundraiser, to which guests were encouraged to wear pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, SIAA was able to raise over $60,000.
