Ancient peoples scrawled on cave walls, early societies gathered around campfires, and contemporary artists envelop narratives in melody and harmony or preserve them in games, blog posts and videos. Few activities have the power to impart wisdom, history and perspective as the lasting act of storytelling. That's why members of the Wholesale & Specialty Insurance Association's 2023 Board of Directors were recently asked to answer four questions:

- What's the most important professional lesson you've learned during your career?
- What are the benefits of being involved with WSIA and attending its 2023 Annual Marketplace in San Diego?
- What else would you like colleagues and friends to know about the Annual Marketplace, your work with WSIA, or the wholesale insurance business?
