People on the move in the P&C insurance industry: August 11, 2023
The latest insurance industry personnel news from H.W. Kaufman Group, Assurex Global, CIBA and more.
H.W. Kaufman Group appointed David R. Janis as general counsel and a member of the company’s leadership team. He served as associate general counsel at Rocket Mortgage in Detroit.
Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions announced that Peter Burt joined to lead its North American Entertainment segment. He previously served as regional vice president at Intact Insurance Specialty Solutions.
ConnexPay appointed George Hansen as its chief revenue officer. He served as head of global sales and account management at PayPal.
Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation appointed Jim Schoonover as its new education director. He brings a wealth of experience in education and curriculum design to his new role.
McGill and Partners announced the following appointments:
- Karl Hennessy – CEO
- Nirali Shah – head of U.S. D&O
Assurex Global appointed Dean Hildebrandt as board of directors of Western National Mutual Insurance Company. He also serves as president and CEO at Assurex Global.
CIBA appointed Andrew Aldorisio as head of product development. He served in other senior roles, including Alternative Markets which includes captive, underwriting leadership and program management.
