GKA Investigations Group rebranded as Halliwell in Australia and New Zealand. The firm has adopted the renowned loss consulting brand Halliwell as it joins its growing international network of specialist services. The move represents the expansion of the U.S.-based Halliwell into Australia and New Zealand.

Verisk expanded its anti-fraud claims solution with artificial intelligence that enables insurers to identify potential fraud in claims photos with lightning speed and laser precision. Without any human intervention, the solution automatically flags photos that have been altered, manipulated or downloaded from the internet. Using ClaimSearch, Verisk’s solution also identifies images that have been submitted to other insurers. The image forensics solution will be featured in a webinar on June 21.

Coalition announced the Coalition Exploit Scoring System, a unique vulnerability scoring system that helps risk managers mitigate potential cyber threats. Developed by Coalition Security Labs, the company’s research and innovation center, Coalition ESS is a security risk prioritization scoring system that leverages real-time monitoring and dynamic scoring to enable businesses of all sizes to efficiently understand which vulnerabilities to patch first.

Precedent closed $9 million in seed funding, provided by Adir Ventures. The new capital will be used to bring Precedent’s suite of products to more insurers as well as broaden and accelerate new product development.

Betterview announced a major update to its property intelligence platform’s user interface. The third generation of its analytics UI brings together every piece of data users need to know about a property into a single screen. The information is well-organized, and the experience is responsive to interaction. This release enhances its existing features – best-in-class flagging system, continuous property monitoring and PartnerHub geospatial data integrations – along with the latest advances in computer vision and generative AI.

OneDigital acquired Leap Carpenter Kemps in Merced, California. With LCK as a part of the OneDigital platform, it provides the firm with a targeted opportunity to integrate property & casualty services into the suite of offerings for thousands of businesses.

FloodFlash partnered with EPIC Insurance Brokers & Consultants, insurance brokers, risk management and consulting firm. Coming off the heels of FloodFlash’s launch in the U.S. and subsequent touchdown in California, the partnership cements FloodFlash’s commitment to providing additional flood insurance options to businesses in the Golden State who might otherwise be left in the underinsurance or reinsurance gap.
