The June 2023 microlearning lesson complimentary to members of the Wholesale and Specialty Insurance Association focused on diversity and inclusion as it pertains to Pride Month. The lesson is a chance to learn more about this celebration, its history rooted in the Stonewall Uprising, why we should champion those who celebrate, and recognize people who have helped drive meaningful change for this community. BluSky Restoration Contractors, LLC and Feed My Starving Children partnered to feed thousands of starving children in the developing world. Through a partnership, volunteers set a goal to prepare over 101,000 life-saving meals at their FMSC MobilePack event. They are pleased to announce that this goal was met, and thousands of children around the world will benefit from the one-day event. The MobilePack took place May 19, 2023 at the BluSky Chicago-area campus.
Invest awarded $30,000 in scholarships to five students pursuing insurance-related degrees. A nonprofit organization, Invest works in high school and college classrooms across the U.S. to educate, train and attract the next generation of insurance professionals. The 2023 scholarship winners are from Florida and Michigan:
