Recognizing excellence in workers' comp risk management
Nominations are now open for the annual Workers’ Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence.
Workplace safety has been elevated to new heights in our post-pandemic world. In fact, a recent survey from Ansell Inteliforz found that 75% of workers are more likely to remain with a company that prioritizes physical safety. The findings from Ansell Inteliforz highlight the importance of installing top-flight workers’ comp risk management programs.
Recognizing the importance of these programs, and the people who make them run, our publications along with Workers’ Compensation Institute (WCI), Sedgwick and Safety National are proud to again host the 2023 Workers’ Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence.
The awards program recognizes risk managers and employers whose safety, risk mitigation and return-to-work programs are success stories based on actual workplace results. For more details and to submit nominations, visit the Workers’ Comp Risk Management Award for Excellence section on PC360.
Winners will be recognized at WCI’s 77th Annual Workers’ Compensation Educational Conference and 34nd Safety & Health Conference, taking place Aug. 20-23, 2023, at the Orlando World Center Marriott. In addition, winners will receive:
- An exclusive feature profile in NU Property & Casualty magazine as well as online at PropertyCasualty360.com.
- Complimentary registration for WCI’s 2023 Educational Conference.
- One night of accommodations during WCI’s 2023 Educational Conference.
- Participation in a platform trophy presentation and other recognition during the WCI Educational Conference.
- A private-hosted dinner during the WCI Educational Conference.
Previous winners represent a variety of industries, ranging from a children’s hospital and a school district to a packaging company and a large telecommunications firm.
