Agency of the Year: What are the characteristics of champions?
Being able to tell the stories of stellar insurance agencies is among the greatest value of this annual award. Nominate today!
Each year, NU Property & Casualty magazine‘s annual Agency of the Year Award spotlights three independent insurance agencies in the U.S. that “display a variety of attributes that make them champions.”
In 2021, two out of three winning agencies highlighted the importance of fostering strong client relationships while the third showcased how to approach service by using technology to support such core values as “people, trust, integrity and protection.”
In 2020, each of the three winning agencies characterized a distinct, modern and innovative take on an old-fashioned business.
And in 2019, the award winners discussed how continuity and a commitment to service enabled them to excel.
Insurance mirrors the world
As we pass the midway point in 2022, a time when insurance professionals wait with baited breath for the next major natural catastrophe, inflation is tightening its grip on individuals and businesses, and the sociopolitical environment worldwide is tenser than it has been in decades, the question remains: How will award-winning independent insurance agencies distinguish themselves? Will this year’s winners exemplify resilience and creativity like the Agency of the Year award winners in the past, or bring new strengths to the table?
Telling their stories is among the greatest values of this annual recognition program.
