A mentor leverages their expertise and experience to guide a professional coming up through the ranks. According to a recent report, Future of Women 2020, 49% of respondents reported that it is a struggle to find mentors, and roughly one in five (18%) of respondents said that finding anyone to provide career guidance internally is hopeless.
