We've already taken a look at the states with the most dangerous drivers, but now it's time to examine the ten states with the best driving records in 2021. According to a report from Insurify, six of the ten states who made the list this year also made 2020's "best drivers" list. To develop these statistics, Insurify examined over 4 million car insurance applications to identify which states had the best drivers. The most common infractions, they found, are speeding and at-fault accidents. While all of the states who made the top ten have clean driving record percentages over 82%, the average number of licensed drivers across the U.S. who can boast a clear record is 78.71%. Information about the number of licensed drivers per state came from the Federal Highway Administration's 2019 estimates. Take a look through the slideshow above to see which states came out on top when it comes to safe driving in 2021.
