J.S. Held acquired all of the assets of IPFC Corp., a consulting firm based in Houston, Texas. Established in 2008, IPFC provides forensic accounting, economic, valuation and expert consulting services to law firms, corporations, educational institutions, government agencies and individuals in the context of business transactions and disputed matters, including intellectual property infringement actions and commercial litigation.

Sedgwick acquired Temporary Accommodations, which provides high-quality, temporary housing and related services to displaced policyholders.

Mosaic Insurance launched a transactional liability team in the United Kingdom and expanded its M&A unit in the United States to respond to the global market’s record pace and volume of deal activity.

McLarens partnered with Saltex, a Polish complex claims management and loss adjusting firm with offices in Warsaw and Wroclaw. Operating as McLarens’ exclusive affiliate in Poland, the partnership with Saltex will further strengthen McLarens’ European footprint, offering domestic and international clients access to comprehensive claims coverage across Poland and providing a platform for growth across Eastern Europe.

Swiss Re Corporate Solutions introduced a workers’ compensation insurance product for mid-sized businesses in the U.S. through Elevate, the company’s middle-market solution. The workers’ comp coverage is available through the broker market, initially targeting the hospitality, manufacturing, professional services, real estate and wholesale/retail segments.
