Insurance technology news from Obsidian Insurance Company, Neptune Flood, Cowbell Cyber and more.
Obsidian Insurance Company partnered with LOOP, a provider of personal auto insurance powered by AI and proprietary technology. LOOP was founded with the belief that insurance should be honest, transparent and fairly priced. They deliver on this by writing personal auto insurance in the U.S. by incorporating the historical and anticipated safety of roads traveled, with the objective of offering a product that more accurately and fairly evaluates the actual exposure.
Neptune Flood partnered with Indium, an independent agency network. Indium agency partners will have access to an instant flood solution that provides greater and broader coverages than the traditional National Flood Insurance Program under FEMA.
Cowbell Cyber announced it is the first insurance provider to offer coverage aligned to policyholders’ AWS footprint. This new addition to Cowbell’s family of connectors extends Cowbell’s continuous risk assessment to the AWS cloud and gives policyholders immediate visibility into their cloud-related risk exposures. The Cowbell Connector to AWS will help customers close insurability gaps by providing them with insights and recommendations on how to improve their risk profile, which places them in a better position to obtain cyber insurance coverage.
Crawford & Company selected Replicon to help them manage its most valuable asset, time. Crawford realized their assets were incredibly siloed and needed to revamp with a solution that shared data between the multiple systems they used and was able to track complex tasks to keep billing as transparent as possible for customers. Since partnering with Replicon, Crawford & Company has reduced the time taken for financial processing by 97% and greatly improved customer satisfaction.
