Tremor Technologies, Inc. released Panorama Surveyor for insurers looking to explore real-time, competitive prices for a variety of structures and perils. The feature allows an insurance company to request complete market pricing for multiple structures simultaneously and multiple perils simultaneously, then decide how much of each to buy and at what uniform price.

ReSource Pro acquired Insurance Licensing Services of America (ILSA), which provides regulatory and compliance services to insurance organizations and professionals. By acquiring ILSA, ReSource Pro is building on its strategy to deliver business transformation services and operational solutions to insurance organizations.

National Association of Insurance Commissioners  (NAIC) is accepting applications for the 2022 consumer participation program. Established in 1992, the program promotes consumer representation and interaction with the NAIC members by providing a way for individuals who are qualified consumer representatives of consumer organizations to participate in NAIC meetings. The NAIC defines a consumer organization as a national, state or local organization that serves to protect the interests of consumers as they relate to the regulation of insurance.

New York Insurance Scholarship Foundation, Inc. named Diego Delgado from Minoa, New York, and Lily Fitzpatrick from Whitestone, New York, as the foundation’s 2021–2022 New York Insurance Scholars. Delgado is a junior at Le Moyne College majoring in risk management and insurance, finance and information systems. Fitzpatrick is a senior at St. John’s University majoring in risk management and insurance with a minor in Asian studies.

Tractable launched AI Inspection, a new solution that accurately assesses the external condition of a vehicle’s body within minutes. AI Inspection allows anyone with a smartphone to quickly and easily assess a vehicle through a mobile-friendly, web-based app, in the time it takes to simply walk once around the car, regardless of condition. The app gives instant access to Tractable’s artificial intelligence platform, which has been trained on hundreds of millions of images to understand auto damage like a human assessor and is trusted by over 20 of the world’s leading insurers and automotive companies to accelerate accident recovery.

TEKRiSQ partnered with Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s Agents Council for Technology. TEKRiSQ is a cybersecurity company that serves small and midsize businesses and helps independent insurance agents quickly diagnose risk, streamline account marketing and delivers any required risk mitigation for their clients.

LegacyArmour partnered with Independent Insurance Agents & Brokers of America’s Agents Council for Technology. LegacyArmour partners with independent insurance agencies to protect client information and provide digital legacy planning facilitation.

NEXT Insurance announced liquor liability coverage, which is available for restaurants as a part of  NEXT’s general liability policy. NEXT’s liquor liability covers losses resulting from the intoxication of customers and is designed for small businesses such as cafés, diners, pop-up restaurants and fine dining.

The 300 Group joined Valley Insurance Agency Alliance, a cohesive family of nearly 150 independent insurance agencies in Missouri and Illinois. The 300 Group was founded in 2021, and the 15-person, full-service agency specializes in commercial insurance, including property and casualty, work comp, and auto.

Marsh McLennan Agency acquired Vaaler Insurance, Inc., one of the largest independent agencies in North Dakota. Terms of the acquisition were not disclosed.

Risk Strategies acquired the assets of employee benefits specialty broker Benevestco, Inc., a Resource Seven Company. The terms of the deal were not announced. Based in Fayetteville, Georgia, Benevestco is a specialist in creating and servicing tailored benefits plans for businesses, with a focus on mid to large-market employers.

USI Insurance Services acquired Des Moines, Iowa-based Reynolds & Reynolds, Inc. Founded in 1976, Reynolds & Reynolds is an independent risk management and employee benefits agency serving businesses and individuals throughout Iowa and nationally.
