Edjuster is a leader in contents services with 20 years of recognized experience in both the U.S. and Canada. This solution operates on a proprietary contents management platform that offers a full-featured, easy-to-use contents inventory and valuation solution for both high severity complex claims and high-volume, small claims.
AXA XL‘s Marine insurance business enhanced marine risk control expertise in the U.S. with the addition of Senior Risk Consultant Jarek Klimczak. Klimczak is transferring to AXA XL’s New York City office from Singapore, effective September 1, 2021.
Swiss Re and Climeworks, specialists in carbon dioxide air capture technology, partnered to combat climate change. The partners signed the world’s first long-term purchase agreement for direct air capture and storage of carbon dioxide, worth $10 million over ten years. For Swiss Re, the collaboration marks a milestone towards its goal of reaching net-zero emissions in its own operations by 2030. The partnership is also a sign of Swiss Re’s support for the carbon removal industry and gives the Group early access to the new carbon removal risk pools and asset classes.
Notting Hill Risk Retention Group, LLC launched a health care facilities program designed specifically to provide accessible and affordable coverage in a volatile market. With reinsurance by Lloyd’s of London and an “A” rating by Demotech, this program is underwritten and distributed by Pioneer Programs through agents and brokers. Created to meet the needs of skilled nursing, residential care, assisted living and independent living facilities as well as home care and hospice facilities, the program offers professional and general liability coverage with limits of $1 million per occurrence and $3 million aggregate, subject to a policy aggregate for multiple locations.

Argo Group International Holdings Ltd. has agreed to sell the renewal rights of its contract binding property and casualty business to Mesa Underwriters Specialty Insurance Company, the excess and surplus lines subsidiary of Selective Insurance Group Inc.

Skuld launched its inaugural online claims tool. making it the first dedicated marine insurer to develop an online claims tool that will allow members to receive reimbursement of crew claims automatically, the company claims. The solution will allow members, clients, brokers and crewing managers to notify all crew claims to Skuld on skuld.com, add information, documents and cost. Simpler claims will be handled automatically, with cash reimbursement processed as quickly as the banking system allows. The system recognizes more complex cases, which will be reverted to Skuld’s skilled claims handlers.
Mercury Insurance ranked number one among insurers for overall satisfaction in the shopping segment of the J.D. Power 2021 U.S. Digital Experience Study. This marks the first time Mercury has received a J.D. Power award.
