Since 2016, millennials have been the largest generation in the U.S. workforce, according to the Pew Research Center, which reported the cohort accounts for more than one-third of all U.S. workers. Further, less than 30% of millennials are hoping to be at their current company within the coming five years. When it comes to making a job change, 35% of millennials do so because they received a better opportunity. An ability to keep the cohort engage seems to be critical to offering fulfilling positions for millennial employees, with just 29% saying they are engaged at work. The national average across generations is 34%. Further, 55% report not being engaged, while 16% of millennials said they are actively disengaged at work.
