Wejo Limited partnered with Microsoft, Palantir and Sompo Holdings to advance the cutting-edge applications of connected vehicle data worldwide. Through the combination of their strategic partnerships and investment, the companies will play a critical role in supporting Wejo’s vision of building the manufacturer-agnostic industry standard for connected vehicle data, creating applications across multiple marketplaces, including automotive, smart city, fleet, insurance, mobility and payments.
AmTrust, BTIS, CNA and Pie Insurance Integrate with Talage’s Wheelhouse, which is designed to change the insurance quoting process by empowering agents to sell small business coverages via any channel. Wheelhouse also allows insurers to more effectively use APIs through a single integration, and automates manual processes for increased efficiency, productivity and growth.
Arity partnered with GasBuddy, a travel and navigation app that can help drivers save money on gas. Through this partnership, GasBuddy will offer app users personalized notifications based on prior driving behavior that suggest ways to optimize their fuel consumption and save money. Arity will look at driving behaviors, mileage and other comparable data to create a fuel savings score for each driver. That score will allow GasBuddy to provide millions of opted-in users with individualized feedback on how they can optimize their fuel consumption and save money.
LIO Insurance selected ClarionDoor Technology for its commercial lines, which can take days or weeks to get a policy, due to manual underwriting processes, according to ClarionDoor. LIO is tapping into the power of data to reduce the quote-to-policy lifecycle and improve the customer experience.
Groundspeed and Unqork partnered on an integrated offering for commercial insurance companies that will enable carriers to drive better risk selection, improve time-to-quote and better serve their customers, while increasing and accelerating their return on investment.
EigenRisk partnered with Salo Sciences, developer of the California Forest ObservatoryTM, to make Salo’s California wildfire probability and hazard mapping and related analytics available through the EigenPrism catastrophe risk management platform. Salo Sciences is currently expanding its wildfire probability and hazard assessment resources to include the Pacific Northwest and Western U.S. during 2021, and subsequently throughout the Continental U.S. and North America.
