Perhaps no other event in recent history prompted individuals and families to move outside of crowded metroplexes and relocate to suburban locales than the COVID-19 pandemic. Many of the up-and-coming areas of the U.S. that are attracting new residents year after year offer promising job markets, affordable housing costs and moderate costs of living. Also, new residents in any area provide local insurance agents and brokers with a fresh prospect pool across personal and commercial lines of business. Earlier this year, Rocket Mortgage evaluated 2019 data from the U.S. Census Bureau to compile a list of the fastest-growing cities in the nation. Known for their relatively warm climates and cultural diversity, cities in the South and West regions of the U.S. dominate the 2021 list of fastest-growing cities, with some cities earning a place on the list for a consecutive year. Check out the above slideshow for the top 10 cities with populations of 50,000 or more that have grown the fastest in the last decade by percentage, according to Rocket Mortgage. Related: |
