During these past 12 months, insurance agents and brokers have worked around the clock assisting clients with their every need, from interpreting pandemic coverage in policies to assisting with claims following a natural disaster. And many did so while working from home, where living rooms have morphed into offices, classrooms and caregiving facilities all at once amidst the pandemic.
The hurdles brought on by COVID-19 paired with a new remote way of business have significantly affected the work-life balance of professionals in the insurance industry, especially women.
