Before this appointment, she served at CSAA Insurance Group as vice president. HUB International appointed David Cloward as practice leader in the firm's Entertainment & Sports practice. He served at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty as global entertainment product leader. Applied Underwriters announced the following promotions:
  • Justin Smith: chief underwriting officer
  • Jing Hong: chief actuary
  • Joan Klucarich: chief reserving actuary
  • Jordan Comacchio: chief pricing actuary
Duck Creek Technologies, Inc. announced that Courtney Townsend joined as chief people officer. She served as chief human resources officer at Stats Perform before her current appointment. Acrisure Re appointed Ben Canagaretna as managing director of the London corporate advisory and solutions business. He served as managing director at Arch Insurance Group. Acrisure announced that Russell Westbrook joined the joint venture Evolution Advisors, LLC as a founding partner. Pool Re appointed Katy Huang as head of digital transformation. She served as business manager at Beazley's Political Risk. Alleghany Corporation announced the following appointments:
  • Joseph P. Brandon: president and chief executive officer
