February is Insurance Careers Month, and like almost everything else in the pandemic age, this year's activities look a bit different than usual. Insurance Careers Month typically offers insurance organizations an opportunity to appeal to students either already enrolled in risk management and insurance (RMI) programs or are undecided. But in the age of remote learning, traditional recruitment strategies and networking opportunities are on hold. Recruitment challenges brought on by the pandemic add to the existing struggles the insurance industry faces in overcoming its talent gap. For students, these staffing issues create a great job market with bountiful career opportunities. For students looking to pursue a career in an RMI field, the right education is key to a solid career foundation. And for organizations looking to recruit top-level next-Gen talent, universities with strong RMI programs are a great place to prospect. U.S. News recently released its list of 2021 Best Colleges, and included in the overall list is a ranking of the best undergraduate insurance programs. Discover which universities fill out the top 10 in the slideshow above. Related: |
