Akur8 partnered with Duck Creek Technologies. With this deal, Akur8 forges their first partnership in the U.S., the biggest P&C insurance market worldwide, representing a key milestone for their expansion. The partnership will deliver a combined SaaS platform that will streamline and empower insurers’ rate-making process from data to production.

Applied Systems partnered with Google to adopt additional Google Cloud technologies as part of its product portfolio transformation. Following an investment in Applied by CapitalG, Alphabet’s independent growth fund, this new partnership with Google Cloud will enable agencies and brokerages to leverage technologies like open API technology, data lakes, browser-native applications, artificial intelligence and more to drive architecture accessibility, speed to market and simpler user experiences.

Worldwide Facilities, LLC partnered with Cudd Pressure Control, Inc., through its Cudd Well Control division. Cudd Well Control will provide the oil & gas industry with access to its experienced team of well control specialists and engineers through an insurance product administered by Worldwide Facilities. The alliance will actively support traditional energy insurance products, in addition to the recently launched “Increased Costs of Drilling and/or Completion Insurance” Program.

EigenRisk selected Armed Conflict Location & Event Data Project to make global political violence alerts available through the EigenPrism catastrophe risk management platform. EigenPrism subscribers opting for ACLED’s data sets can be notified automatically when any of their assets, insured properties, operations or trading partners are located within a defined proximity of a reported event. Individual users can customize the alerts according to a variety of factors, such as timing, proximity zone, fatalities, event type or impacted values. Each alert includes the information source, actors, location, severity (such as fatalities) and other relevant information.

Hagerty Drivers Club partnered with Agero to provide members with a roadside service program for classic car owners. Relaunched on Agero’s Swoop platform, the program includes new capabilities and services, including a fully digital experience, alternative transportation serviced by Lyft and post-event customer care.

VGM Insurance selected Input 1 Payments to digital transformation and enhance their agent and customer experience.

Quotech and Tenefit partnered to bring powerful new peril and loss-event data into insurance-market systems in real-time, allowing for analysis of data effectively alongside the customers’ own. The integration of DisasterAWARE Enterprise with the Quotech Insurance Platform enables the global risk market to automate monitoring and notification of critical events directly impacting insurance underwriters, brokers, claims adjusters, and policy sales teams.

Duck Creek Technologies also partnered with DocuSign, which offers a leading e-signature solution as part of the DocuSign Agreement Cloud. An integration between Duck Creek Distribution Management and DocuSign eSignature enables insurance carriers to enhance producer experiences and create operational efficiencies. DocuSign helps organizations connect and automate how they prepare, sign, act on, and manage agreements.
