Introducing the 2021 FC&S Editorial Advisory Board
The team at FC&S Expert Coverage Interpretation is proud to introduce its inaugural Editorial Advisory Board.
At FC&S Expert Coverage Interpretation, we have long prided ourselves on our insurance industry expertise, and we’re known for staying on top of emerging risks and trends. We also contact other professionals to ensure that we’re aware of what’s going on day to day in the industry. In 2021, we’re expanding our thought leadership by launching an Editorial Advisory Board to provide us with a better picture of where the P&C insurance industry is today and where it’s going in the next few years.
These insurance experts bring a broad range of experience to FC&S, including educators, attorneys, industry practitioners, credentialed authors and experts. Our board members will occasionally add articles to our library as well as providing us with insights on emerging issues within the industry. They’ll also be featured as guest speakers in our webinars on significant insurance issues.
We’re excited to be working with them, and you’ll be hearing more from the board throughout 2021.

Diane’s more than 30 years in the insurance industry includes personal lines underwriting, marketing insurance to upscale clients, and, best of all — writing for a nationally known insurance publication, FC&S Bulletins (now FC&S Expert Coverage Interpretation), retiring as an associate editor in 2006. The publication’s focus on insurance contract analysis and interpretation proved an ideal fit for the English major.
During her tenure with FC&S, Diane co-wrote “Insuring to Value with Marshall & Swift and Risk Management for Financial Planners” with other staff. She authored the “Personal Umbrella Coverage Guide” (first and second editions) and “Homeowners Coverage Guide” (first through fifth editions). She also wrote two online courses: “Insuring the Home-Based Business” and “Flood Insurance.”
