Ramesh Bulusu, CIO, United Educators Insurance (UE) Ramesh has more than 25 years of Management experience across diverse industries. As the Chief Information Officer for United Educators Insurance (UE), he leads the data, digital, and technology services and co-leads business strategic planning and transformation initiatives. He is driving digital transformation efforts, modernizing core business systems, enabling business continuity and workforce productivity through cloud transformation and robotic process automation, and innovating with enterprise data analytics and digital experience solutions. Prior to taking on his current role at UE in 2015, Ramesh was a vice president in HCL America's healthcare business unit, where he was responsible for delivering technology services to U.S. healthcare payer and provider clients. He has held technology and strategic leadership positions at AARP and at AOL, helping transform organizations with innovative technology solutions. Ramesh also has worked at IBM and PwC consulting, advising clients on business and operational transformation with product and technology solutions. In 2018, Ramesh was awarded the Capital CIO of the Year ORBIE Award in the corporate sector category. This honor recognizes CIOs who have demonstrated leadership and excellence in technology management, based on scope of responsibilities, leadership effectiveness, business value created by innovation, and engagement in industry and community endeavors. As the Associate Vice President, Information Technology for United Educators Insurance (UE), he leads teams to deliver data, digital, and technology initiatives. He is driving technology modernization efforts to support strategic goals to enhance business continuity and scalability with cloud solutions, improve business systems agility and efficiency with application integrations and data driven decisions with enterprise data warehouse solutions. Prior to joining UE, Mr. Patel was a Vice President of Technology in Social and Scientific Systems health services consulting unit, where he was responsible for delivering technology solutions for health data analytics and research, their he led modernization of All Payer Database by developing an automated solution for health data submission and analytics. At Dell Services he led multi-disciplinary teams delivering custom solutions for software and data applications to National Institute of Health (NIH), helping develop systems to track, manage and analyze research grants allocation and effectiveness.
