Huckleberry announced its newest upcoming offering, the Pandemic Business Interruption plan. The new policy will be one of the first of its kind, designed for small businesses impacted by pandemic-related stressors and costs, and will be available in early 2021. Unlike other insurance companies coming to market with new pandemic policies, Huckleberry’s will be among the only plans geared directly toward small businesses. In addition, Huckleberry is engineering its new plan to offer quick and automatic payouts based on local, county-level actions and closures, eliminating excessive reporting and saving companies time when they need it most.

ValChoice announced a new series of tools for insurance agents and carriers designed to help them compete against the major advertisers. These new offerings include solutions for both the retention of current customers and new customer acquisition. Packages include unlimited insurance comparison reports — that can be created on-demand and customized for each client — listings on the ValChoice Agent Finder, lead generation and referral programs, as well as advertising and landing page builders that allow companies to increase their visibility on the web and on social media.

AssuredPartners selected Vertafore as the InsurTech provider for its Project Fusion. With offices in 38 states and two countries, the project will bring the AssuredPartners’ operations onto a single platform to provide a fully integrated, enterprise-wide InsurTech solution.
