Whitespace, the insurance software-solutions provider, recently partnered with GuideOne National on its energy MGU, Career General Agency. CGA will accept risks exclusively via the Whitespace Platform through a wholly digitized underwriting process. Based in West Des Moines, Iowa, CGA will underwrite property insurance for global energy risks, both renewable and traditional, on behalf of multi-national insurance organizations.

Cover Genius, the global insurance technology company, has partnered with Intuit to offer QuickBooks customers a range of insurance and risk-mitigation products. The first solution being offered, Shake Shield, is a parametric insurance solution built by Cover Genius and Swiss Re, and available via Cover Genius’s XCover insurance distribution platform. Shake Shield provides quick payments to help businesses get back on their feet after a qualifying earthquake. Shake Shield will initially be available to QuickBooks customers in California.

Zurich North America collaborated with Paladin to connect Zurich’s attorneys with pro-bono service opportunities in a time of increasing need. Zurich lawyers will be able to seamlessly search and sign up for pro bono opportunities across Illinois, including from legal services organizations such as Equip for Equality and the Center for Disability and Elder Law.

Paragon International Insurance Brokers partnered with CyberCube to roll out Broking Manager, CyberCube’s cyber-risk analytics platform for insurance intermediaries. Broking Manager is the first software-as-a-service application CyberCube has built specifically for the insurance broking community. It offers a streamlined approach to generating financial exposure impact that helps clients make informed decisions on coverages and limits.

Redwood Logistics partnered with Loadsure to foster an all-risk cargo load insurance platform. Powered by automation and machine learning, this end-to-end digital insurance solution can be made available to shippers through RedwoodConnect, Redwood’s flagship supply chain integration platform-as-a-service product.

Breckenridge Insurance Services selected the ClarionDoor MGA Hub to handle the company’s commercial general liability and property business. Breckenridge specializes in program business and extensive offerings for P&C insurance sold through independent agents across the country. As the company continues to expand operations, a modern digital distribution platform was needed to respond to the needs of an ever-changing marketplace.

LexisNexis Risk Solutions collaborated Yonomi Smart Home to develop a turnkey home insurance IoT solution. The solution and forthcoming smartphone app will help homeowners obtain the cost benefits of using smart home devices as well as improve product offerings for insurers. Yonomi’s existing smart home platform consolidates more than 300 IoT devices across device categories, allowing users to manage their smart home technology all through the one phone app. LexisNexis then provides the analytics capabilities and brokers the data, which enables insurers to provide more customized offerings and allows customers to see the value of their connected home data in real-time as well as have data portability if they decide to switch carriers.

Cinch Home Services partnered with Kin Insurance. Through their new partnership, Cinch and Kin will implement new, relevant and affordable coverages that protect homeowners’ most valuable assets.

bolt partnered with EZLynx® to provide real-time competitive rating for personal lines and agency management systems for independent insurance agents. The joint venture will provide EZLynx agents access to multiple commercial lines products and insurance carriers.
