Here are the P&C insurance events to have on your radar this October through December.

Editor’s Note: At the start of every quarter, we publish upcoming P&C insurance events and conferences from around the U.S. Many industry events have been postponed, canceled, or changed amidst the COVID-19 pandemic. The information included in this article is as recent as the date of publication. Please refer to each event’s website for the latest information.

FAIR Foundation Virtual Conference Series: This six-week event will provide solutions on how stakeholders can promote consumer education, resiliency through mitigation, improved disaster preparedness, closing the insurance protection gap, and developing action plans and strategies for meaningful progress and cultural change. Attendees and speakers include Realtors, emergency managers, engineers, mitigation professionals, insurers and reinsurers, insurance agents, construction and technology companies, and local governments.

APCIA 2020 Annual Meeting: APCIA members and industry partners are encouraged to participate in this online event and learn about the trade association, the state of the industry, and the current business environment from APCIA leadership and a lineup of expert speakers.

2020 Velocity Conference: Accelerating the Future of Insurance: The event’s agenda includes a wide range of sessions on some of the latest challenges facing insurers and innovations that are in development to help address them. The topics include innovations in remote inspections, new solutions for non-standard auto, and emerging data for cyber underwriting.

IRMI Construction Risk Conference: The CRC event will address construction risks for anyone who must understand, mitigate, or insure the complex risks in the construction industry, including construction company or project owners, risk managers, CFOs, controllers, treasurers, insurance buyers, agents and brokers, underwriters and adjusters, attorneys, consultants, and service providers.

NAMIC Communications + Marketing Workshop: The Communications + Marketing Workshop will address the unique challenges of marketing and advertising, managing internal communications, connecting a company to the media and policyholders, and branding a mutual insurance company.

2020 TMPAA Virtual Summit Week: Hear from thought leaders to address the challenges of the current business environment, provide updates on the state of the program business, and discuss solutions. Expect access to virtual meeting opportunities with more than 60 program carriers, including London Markets and over 100 premier service provider solutions.

2020 Big ”I” Virtual LET’s Summit: The Fall Leadership Conference is presented by the Big “I” Young Agents, Agents Council for Technology, and Big “I” Education. The virtual event will provide quick-hitting content for independent agents to help them lead better, market smarter, provide valuable education, and leverage technology to protect and streamline their business. 

2020 Cyber Risk Insights Conference: New York: The three-day virtual event will feature discussions on the most relevant cyber content, including “Cyber Currents” conversations and Shop Talk presentations.

IICF 2020 Inclusion in Insurance Forum A virtual event where industry leaders and notable speakers will provide insight on the future of work in the industry and discuss how to promote and sustain progress related to diversity, inclusion and leadership.

InsurTech Virtual Matchmaking Expo 2020: This Expo is the first dedicated virtual job fair and networking event for InsurTech startups and insurance industry professionals. It will be held on a networking platform that creates a three-dimensional virtual environment where attendees can visit booths and dynamically join video conversations with exhibitors.

Insurance Innovators: Digital Summit 2020: Across eight episodes, industry leaders worldwide will come together to debate new ideas, unpack the latest trends, set agendas, and build collaborative partnerships.

RIMS ERM Conference 2020: This virtual educational and networking event will explore innovative enterprise risk management strategies and practices from contemporary speakers.

The Future of Insurance Canada 2020: The industry’s most senior executives are coming together to share their latest strategies on how to serve customers in a post-COVID world in which communication, intuitive products, and value-add services have never been more critical.

2020 Virtual CAS Annual Meeting: The 2020 Virtual CAS Annual Meeting allows property-casualty insurance actuaries and consultants to earn continuing education credits in various sessions covering relevant and timely topics necessary for continued professional growth and maintaining actuarial credentials.

North American Insurance Conference Series: Insurance in the New Normal: Fitch’s analysts will partner with external thought leaders to discuss “Insurance in the New Normal.”

The Future of Insurance USA 2020: This event will offer an executive view of the internal and external trends shaping the insurance industry, and the case studies that provide strategies to effectively deploy innovation, people, and cutting-edge tech to succeed.

IRMI Energy Risk & Insurance Conference: ERIC Virtual focuses on the unique risk management challenges faced by energy companies and the nuances of properly insuring those exposures. Topics include energy and the economy, contractual indemnity provisions, and emerging risks.

NAIC Fall 2020 National Meeting: A gathering of members and partners of the NAIC, which provides expertise, data, and analysis for insurance commissioners to regulate the industry and protect consumers effectively.

NCOIL Annual Meeting: The National Council of Insurance Legislators (NCOIL) is an organization of state legislators whose main area of public policy concern is insurance legislation and regulation.
