IAT Insurance Group selected ClaimsPay, part of the One Inc Digital Payments Platform, to optimize the company’s outbound payment capabilities. The new platform expands IAT’s digital engagement capabilities to include multi-channel communications and event-based messaging. Now, policyholders can choose to receive claims payments via ACH bank transfer, instant ClaimsCard™, Push-to-Card, or paper check. Additionally, ClaimsPay’s multi-party payments feature allows IAT to provide secure digital approvals and payments to multiple individuals, vendors, and service providers on a single claim.

Valkyrie and Actuarial Risk Management have formed a strategic alliance. ARM and Valkyrie’s collaboration brings actuaries and data scientists together for an advisory team built to penetrate data using advanced learning capabilities. The service aims to offer customers a competitive advantage and a better means of assessing risk.

Sapiens International Corporation partnered with the electronic signature provider AssureSign. AssureSign’s advanced technology will be integrated with Sapiens’ platform for workers’ compensation to enhance both claims and policy processes. The partnership will enable carriers and agencies to expedite customer acquisitions and renewals through various distribution channels, including agency portals, carrier consumer portals and internal CSRs.

Verisk announced that U.S. auto insurers can access driving data from consenting owners of connected Honda and Acura vehicles. The data is available exclusively through the Verisk Data Exchange™. It can help insurers deliver the benefits of usage-based insurance (UBI) programs to an expanded customer base.
