Insurance podcasts offer new way to learn
Podcasts are fast becoming the latest mode for gathering information on a variety of topics.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out our Insurance Speak podcasts yet, it might be worth exploring our archives because we’re beginning to amass quite a collection on a variety of topics. These short audio recordings can be downloaded to your phone or just listened to over your computer or another mobile device. Most of them are about 20 minutes long, and since there isn’t a video component, you can be fixing lunch, traveling to a job, walking or working on other projects while you listen.
The Insurance Speak podcasts provide insurance professionals with the latest information affecting the industry, packing vital information into a broadcast that can be accessed anywhere, at any time through PropertyCasualty360.com. The podcasts are hosted by Danielle Ling, associate editor, Online Features and Multimedia at NU Property & Casualty and NU PropertyCasualty360, and Patricia Harman, editor-in-chief of Claims Magazine and a contributing editor to NU PropertyCasualty360.
Topics include updates from insurers on global risk reports; discussions on cybersecurity, fraud, mergers & acquisitions, InsurTech, auto insurance trends and property & casualty risks; as well as information for brokers and agents, carriers and claims professionals. The podcast format also allows us to address breaking news topics like the impact of the COVID-19 coronavirus on the insurance industry so that brokers, agents and claims professionals can be prepared.
Podcasts can be accessed from the PropertyCasualty360.com website, just click on the ‘More’ tab at the top of the page and scroll down to the podcasts. They can also be accessed through our channel on Libsyn.
