Beazley announced a new partnership with Vizient Insurance Services, a subsidiary of Vizient, Inc., to offer active shooter coverage. Under the terms of the agreement, the policy includes prevention and crisis management services as well as insurance coverage to indemnify covered losses. The coverage is designed to help reduce the likelihood of an incident by providing risk assessments and educational tools to help clients improve security and resilience to an incident. In such an event, Beazley’s crisis response services include security, investigation into the cause of the incident and assistance with managing crisis communications.

Acceptance Insurance, a provider of automobile insurance and other insurance-related products and services, has provided more than 10,000 people with free TeleMed, donated more than $8,000 in supplies across the country, including assembling activity bags for children, and delivered more than 250 meals to post office staff, fire departments, assisted living homes and drug store workers across the country.

AmTrust Exec, a division of AmTrust Financial Services, has introduced a new commercial crime product for medium- and large-sized businesses. The monoline Commercial Crime product covers loss from employee and third-party theft of money, securities and other property, including employee theft (without manifest intent), computer and electronic funds transfer fraud, fraudulent impersonation and clients’ property.

Hiscox has partnered with Thimble to offer short-term liability insurance to small businesses, available by the hour, day or month. Customers will have full control of their policy via Thimble’s insurance app with the ability to modify their coverage based on a project’s needs, add additional insureds or even pause coverage as necessary.

Agero, a driver assistance services partner for automotive manufacturers and insurance carriers in North America, announced it has purchased the assets of Road America Motor Club from MAPFRE Asistencia. Agero will take over roadside and accident support for Road America’s more than 100 U.S.-based insurance, auto reseller, fleet, RV and other diverse client programs.

Liberty Mutual Surety announced it will begin offering business service bonds through CyberPolicy®. CyberPolicy, a licensed and appointed insurance agency, is the sister company of CoverHound and is a marketplace for complete insurance protection for small and medium-sized businesses to compare, quote, and buy business insurance and cyber insurance online. InsurTech is a new distribution channel for Liberty Mutual Surety.

Charles Taylor Claims Services has launched its Defense Base Act claims services to support insurance carriers and their clients. The services incorporate claims handling and medical management for specialized DBA claims. They expand Charles Taylor’s award-winning global medical and security assistance and claims and risk management offerings.

Burns & Wilcox Brand Ambassador Webb Simpson won the RBC Heritage in Hilton Head, S.C. The win was Webb’s seventh on the PGA Tour and second this season.
