The National Association of Insurance Commissioners (NAIC) recently released its annual P&C insurance market shares report for 2019. As part of their annual list, the NAIC evaluated commercial auto insurance groups and carriers. In 2019, the total commercial auto sector grossed $45.1 billion in direct premiums written and $42.9 billion in direct premiums earned. Highlighting the top premium earners, the NAIC ranked the top commercial auto insurance carriers last year based on direct premiums written, direct premiums earned and market share. Many of the names on last year's list appear again on 2019's top rankings, but the list order has certainly shuffled. In the slideshow above, discover the top 15 commercial auto insurance carriers for 2019, ranked by the NAIC. See also: |
