QBE North America appointed Dan Moore as chief operating officer. In this role, he will lead claims, technology and operations and oversee communications and branding, with the goal of strengthening QBE's performance and customer-centered approach for delivering integrated risk management solutions.

Reporting to QBE North America CEO Todd Jones, Moore will also serve as a member of the company's executive committee.
