One Call, a provider of specialized health care solutions for the workers’ compensation industry, appointed Thomas Warsop CEO. He succeeds Rone Baldwin, who is leaving the company to pursue other opportunities.

Given his experience and reputation in managed care and workers’ compensation, Warsop will spend most of his time meeting with current and prospective customers, listening to their needs and discussing how One Call can be a part of the solution. Additionally, from the company’s provider networks to its customer service, he will be evaluating areas where One Call can hone its skills and expertise to ensure it continues to provide injured workers with the best possible care and outcomes.

“We are very pleased to welcome Tom to the leadership team. His deep industry expertise and passion for the mission of One Call is readily apparent to all who know him,” Lauren Krueger, managing director of KKR and member of the board of directors of One Call, said in a statement. “We look forward to supporting him and the entire team in continuing to expand One Call’s industry-leading position. We thank Rone for his contribution and leadership during his tenure and wish him future success.”

Past experience

Most recently, Warsop served as chairman and CEO of York Risk Services Group. His other past experience includes serving as CEO at The Warranty Group, group president of Fiserv Inc. and corporate vice president of Electronic Data Systems Corporation.

In addition to One Call, he serves on the boards of ACI Worldwide and Nation Safe Drivers and is a fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors.

“I’m honored to be chosen to drive this company forward,” says Warsop. “This organization is a powerhouse of solutions and expertise used to improve people’s lives every day. By keeping that mission top of mind, we’re carving out a bright future for our company and the injured workers we serve. I look forward to what’s to come.”
