Marsh & McLennan appoints Peter Krause Southeast regional CEO

Marsh & McLennan Agency LLC (MMA) appointed Peter Krause Southeast regional CEO. In this role, he will oversee MMA’s offices in Georgia, Alabama, Tennessee, Kentucky and Tallahassee, Fla.

Krause will continue to be based in Atlanta and succeeds Gary Ivey, who will continue as an advisor to MMA Southeast throughout the remainder of 2020. He reports to David Eslick, chairman and CEO of MMA.

Krause brings more than 30 years of insurance underwriting, marketing and management experience to the role. He most recently served as president of MMA’s Southeast region. Prior to that, he served as senior vice president, managing director and marketing manager of J. Smith Lanier & Co.
