Following a triumphant win at the Waste Management Phoenix Open on Feb. 2, 2020, Webb Simpson presented a $50K donation along with Jimmy Walker to their charities of choice in partnership with Burns & Wilcox.

At a ceremony on Feb. 6, 2020, the Burns & Wilcox’s PGA golf brand ambassadors helped present $25,000 checks to Team Fox, the grassroots fundraising community of The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research, and to Global Lyme Alliance.

The donations are a result of Champions & Charities, one of the Burns & Wilcox’s signature philanthropic initiatives that support organizations selected by the company’s professional athlete brand ambassadors as well as company-wide initiatives.

“Participating in a year-long, philanthropic program with our brand ambassadors was a great way to extend our partnerships with Simpson and Walker. In an industry designed to take care of people when they need it most, we at Burns & Wilcox hold true to our belief that it is our duty to help those around us,” Daniel J. Kaufman, COO, Burns & Wilcox, and executive vice president of parent company, H.W. Kaufman Group, said in a statement.

While Scott Santarella, CEO of Global Lyme Alliance, commented that ”Global Lyme Alliance appreciates all the time and effort Burns & Wilcox and Jimmy Walker have contributed to our organization through Champions & Charities.”
