Joint Industry Forum on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2020, at the Marriot Marquis for a day of discussions on some of the most pressing issues in the insurance market. In the Insurance Industry Institute's (I.I.I.) first industry event of the year, the Joint Industry Forum panels focused on a number of existing and emerging trends that will impact the future of the industry. Among them, the subjects of the day's panels included extreme weather, marketing, diversity and inclusion, economics insights, politics and policymaking relative to the insurance industry in 2020. Attendees represented P&C professionals in both commercial and personal lines, life insurance companies, reinsurance, industry trade associations, brokers and service companies, and regulatory agencies.
