InsuraGuest Incannounced it is now live with Wisp Report, providing specialized insurance coverage that utilizes InsuraGuest’s proprietary InsurTech software as the first line of defense for the resort property and its guests. InsuraGuest’s API integrates with the hotel’s property management system, Agilysys, to access The Lodge at Wisp’s 169 guest rooms.

New Zealand insurer Tower Insurance deployed EIS Group‘s digital insurance platform. The cloud-based platform replaces numerous legacy systems and supports quoting, policy administration, billing, claims and customer management and engagement processes to provider Tower’s customers with a seamless sales and service experience.

The New Jersey Department of Banking and Insurance selected GetInsured, a health insurance marketplace platform provider, to develop and operate the technology platform for New Jersey’s state-based Health Insurance Exchange, and MAXIMUS to operate the consumer assistance center for the state. The selection is a step in the effort to transition to a state-based exchange for 2021 to improve health coverage access for New Jersey residents and allow the state greater control over its health insurance market.

Sapiens International Corporation, a provider of software solutions for the insurance industry, acquired sum.cumo, a Germany-based technology provider that offers consumer-centric solutions mainly to the insurance to the insurance sector, for up to €28.4 million (approximately $31.6 million USD). The acquisition will enable Sapiens to expand its footprint by offering Sapiens’s complete product and services portfolio in the DACH region (Germany, Switzerland and Austria), alongside sum.cumo’s offerings.

Safety Insurance Group selected Guidewire Software Inc.‘s Guidewire ClaimCenter to modernize its claims management system and position itself for the future. The company will be accessing ClaimCenter in a private cloud through EY Nexus for Insurance, with insurance, ongoing services and support provided by Ernst & Young LLP, a Guidewire PartnerConnect Consulting Premier member.
