Next to the words, "You owe the IRS $XXX" or "You've been served," no phrase creates more fear today than, "You've been hacked."
Earlier this fall, enterprise security firm Proofpoint said that during the first six months of 2019, they had detected over 15 million attempts by unauthorized users who tried to access the cloud computing networks of Fortune 500 companies. The bad news is that 400,000 of those attempts were successful.
