The Pure Group of Insurance Companies appointed Jerry Hourihan senior vice president, chief growth officer. He joins the company from AIG, where he most recently served as president of the private client group for the United States and Canada, a position he held since 2014. Jim Clark has been appointed CEO at HDI Global Insurance Company, effective Jan. 1, 2020. He currently serves as the company's chief underwriting officer. Origami Risk announced the expansion of its operations in the United Kingdom and Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) with the London appointments of Mary Upshaw as head of professional service - EMEA, and Daniel Efting as client executive. For the past several years, Upshaw has managed several of Origami's U.K.- and EMEA-based accounts. Efting joined Origami in 2016. Sarah M. Anderson has joined Freeborn & Peters LLP's Tampa office as an associate in the litigation practice group and as a member of the insurance and reinsurance industry team. Prior to joining Freeborn, Anderson served as a law clerk to Judge James D> Whittemore and Judge Timothy J. Corrigan in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Florida. Breckenridge Insurance Services announced the addition of two vice presidents/brokers with the hiring of John J. Hayes and Lisa P. Maize. Hayes was last at Nationwide as a middle market territory lead for Georgia within its southeast regional operations. Maize previously was a senior broker at RLA Insurance Intermediaries with a focus on casualty and environmental liability. The specialty property program team at Blue River Underwriters, a Breckenridge Insurance Group company, welcomed Jamey Schoenhard as an underwriter to the team. He last served as a commercial property underwriter at Kinsale Insurance and has more than 10 years of underwriting experience. Sheri Wilbanks has been appointed AXA XL Risk Consulting's global casualty & environmental lines of business manager. Her insurance career includes tenure with American International Group (AIG), where she most recently served as global innovation lead for AIG's client risk solutions division. CAC Specialty announced the expansion of its transactional liability practice with the appointment of Jordan B. Tamchin as senior vice president and leader of its tax insurance practice. Most recently, Tamchin was vice president, tax insurance counsel for Concord Specialty Risk. Michele Wyatt has been named chief operating officer at Mutual of Enumclaw. She first came to the company in December 2015 as vice president and chief claims officer. The Arbella Insurance Group appointed Susan Kostro senior vice president of commercial lines. Most recently, she was senior vice president and chief underwriting officer for Liberty Mutual's commercial public entity division. Aspen Insurance Holdings Limited announced the following appointments:
