EMC Insurance Companies has selected CLARA analytics to help advance its digital initiatives. EMC will integrate the full suite of all three CLARA products, CLARA providers, CLARA claims and CLARA litigation.

Blackcomb Consultants announced that they recently completed an 18-month digital transformation implementation effort for Mitsui Sumitomo Marine Management U.S.A. Inc. and its affiliate U.S. insurers.

Roost announced a partnership with Church Mutual Insurance Company. In a strategic agreement to deploy Roost’s Property Telematics Service to help mitigate claim costs, Church Mutual will be the first insurance company to provide their members with the new commercial-grade Roost Protection360 Service with 24/7 alert and verification of water leak, freeze and power outage situations.

Duck Creek Technologies announced that it has expanded its Partner Ecosystem program through a new relationship with SambaSafety. An integration with Duck Creek Policy gives carriers access to Volta, SambaSafety’s service that provides comprehensive violation data combined with an enhanced rules engine designed to accurately assess and price driver risk, from directly within the Duck Creek Platform.

First Choice Insurance Intermediaries announced it now offers agents access to their workers’ compensation and commercial general liability programs using Appulate. Appulate offers independent insurance agents technology that bridges data directly from their systems to make submissions to key markets easier.

Farmers Union Mutual Insurance Company (FUMICO) has selected Sapiens International Corporation‘s Sapiens CoreSuite for Property & Casualty and Sapiens IntelligencePro for Property and Casualty over the cloud for its digital transformation. FUMICO will benefit from enhanced rating and rules during underwriting to speed processes, with underwriter interaction that can be configured by business users. Sapiens’ CoreSuite is also expected to reduce FUMICO’s time to market for future product rollouts and overhead costs.

Sapiens also announced that Hollard Group Risk, an independent specialist risk manager based in South Africa that is a division of Hollard Life Assurance Company Limited, selected Sapiens CoreSuite for Life & Pension to transform its core business, group risk. The CoreSuite advanced user experience simplifies administration for users, providing intuitive dashboards and process management.

Allianz SE and Microsoft Corp. announced a strategic partnership focused on digitally transforming the insurance industry, making the insurance process easier while creating a better experience for insurance companies and their customers. Through the partnership, Allianz will move core pieces of its global insurance platform, Allianz Business System, to Microsoft’s Azure cloud and will open-source parts of the solution’s core to improve and expand capabilities.
